I am the Journeys Ministry Assistant. I get to assist Peggy on Tuesdays for Journeys. I also am the Journeys Kids & Journeys Youth lead for k-12 graders. Blessed with coordinating the leaders of both these groups as well, what a great team. I get the pleasure of planning and prepping the Jesus centered lessons that bring hope and healing from the hardships of life. Journeys kids and youth are such a blessing to me, thankful for each of them and their families. I have been on staff with Hosanna since August 2012. Serving Hosanna for over a decade now has been an honor. I am so grateful to be serving on the Journeys Ministry team with all the volunteers that make Journeys what it is. Hosanna has been an answer for my prayers in many ways, which brings me to my family.
I was born in Mankato, but most of my life I grew up on a farm near Beauford just outside of Mankato. I went to Maple River School District where I graduated High School. I moved onto college, got my degree in child development, and started teaching. Was hired at Hosanna and have served in multiple ministry areas. I met my husband Jason at Hosanna a few years into being on staff through many God moments. We were married shortly after on July 31, 2015. He is an answer to many prayers, doing life with him as my best friend is pure joy. We have four beautiful, loving, energetic children. Riley, Jayden, Maryelle, and Dixy. We are the Fisher family party of 6! I never thought I’d be this blessed, God is so good through it all. We also have a dog, Diesel. Our family enjoys Jesus time, being outdoors, sports, and going on adventures.
