I arrived at Hosanna Mankato in September of 2010 after serving congregations in Nebraska (Go Huskers!), Michigan and Anoka, Minnesota. I serve as Lead Pastor. I like to sum up my role in three words: feed, lead and intercede. All three actions are aimed at equipping and inspiring Hosanna disciples to connect people to Jesus. I love Hosanna – our grace orientation provides a safe place where people experience God’s love, God’s truth, genuine joy and a wonderful sense of unity.
My lovely wife, Sheila and I have been married 40 years (2018). We have four married children: Ben (Sarah), Katie (Tad), Kim (Colin), and Michael (Joy). They have blessed us with eleven wonderful grandchildren. They live in Michigan, Missouri and Virginia. Sheila and I enjoy traveling (including trips to see grandchildren, three trips to Israel), relaxing and getting together with friends.
