Connections Shelter Volunteer Opportunity
Connections Homeless Shelter is a coalition of local churches that provides assistance to those in our community who are experiencing homelessness. Hosanna once again has the opportunity to serve the Connections Shelter and has been assigned the week of March 19th-25th, offering many opportunities for every one of us to serve whether providing needed supplies, preparing a meal, serving a meal and/or visiting with the individuals at the Shelter.
Here is a quote by Stephen Grellet which reads: “I shall pass through this world but once. Any good, therefore, that I can do or any kindness I can show to any human being, let me do it now. Let me not defer it or neglect it for I shall not pass this way again.”
Lastly and more importantly Matthew 25:40 states “I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine you did for me.”
