next gen life
At Hosanna, we value kids of all ages and their relationship with Jesus and others!
Our Next Gen Life area has the unique opportunity to connect with all kids, from the nursery through high school seniors. Throughout the many life groups and events offered, it is our hope and prayer that we can help them to know God personally, to know how God has created them to be, and to know how God has designed us to be in relationship with each other!
Our Next Gen Life groups are for children in Prek-12th grade.
If your child is not old enough for life groups yet, we offer nursery care which you can register for here.

Preschool - Kindergarten life group time is offered during the school year on Wednesdays during 6:15pm worship, and on Sundays during the 9:00am and 10:30am worship times. We follow the Beginner’s Bible curriculum where faith is taught through classic Bible stories, connection time, songs, and crafts.
Children must be potty trained.
We offer a PreK Bible event where children are gifted their own age-appropriate Bible and their family is taught how to use it together at home. Other events this age group can participate in are VBS, Summer in the Son park playdates, Kidz Style Christmas & Easter Services, and other connection events like Jammies With Jesus.

1st-4th Grade students participate in life groups during Hosanna’s Wednesday 6:15pm worship and Sunday 9:00am and 10:30am services during the school year. Children worship with their families and are dismissed to their life groups following the Children’s message. Our life groups use Hyfi, a curriculum that uses 12 Biblical truths that guide students to learn who the are because of who Christ is. Hyfi also helps create a culture of belonging so every student feels welcomed and included as well as providing Biblically sound content with a clear picture of Jesus and the Gospel in every session.
Each year we have a 3rd Grade Bible Event, participate in Christmas Kidz Style services, host Easter Kidz Style services for families to attend, and explore God’s Word through Vacation Bible School in the summertime.

Hosanna’s middle school ministry is for students in 5th through 8th grade and they meet in life groups during Hosanna’s Wednesday 6:15pm worship and Sunday 9:00am and 10:30am services. Students are connected to Jesus in a way that is unique to their age and taught practical ways to apply Biblical teaching, both Bible knowledge and life application, in their lives. Students have a structure where they meet in large group and classrooms in alternating weeks to help them understand the larger community they belong to and to help connect them to students who are also their age.
Throughout their time in middle school, students will have the opportunity to participate in fellowship events, mission opportunities, and complete their First Communion and Confirmation Milestones.

Our senior high ministry meets for youth group on Wednesday's from 7:15-9pm where we learn about God, who He has created us to be, and the people around us, too. In this ministry area, we spend time digging into His Word, practice cultivating our servant hearts, and grow relationships with others in similar stages of life.
We celebrate our seniors with a Senior Baccalaureate each May and take a summer trip together to experience and share God's love. Many of our students also choose to lead a weekly life group of younger students, as well as helping lead VBS during the summer. We are so glad to be with you!

On Tuesday nights, we have care life groups for our Next Gen that offers hope and healing to kids and youth by offering two different curriculums, both designed to help kids and youth with emotional resilience as they grow, physically, emotionally and spiritually.
Currently K through 5th grade is utilizing Celebration Place. This curriculum mirrors the 12- step recovery program called Celebrate Recovery. It is designed to prepare kids to deal with any kind of hurt, habit, or hang-up that they may encounter as they mature.
Treehouse is offered to our 6th through 12th graders. Treehouse’s mission is to end hopelessness among teens by meeting them right where they are at. Showing them that they are lovable, capable and worthwhile, they are loved without strings and never alone, and that they have a future.

Feeling Led to Lead?
It takes around 150 leaders each week for our Next Gen Life groups to run smoothly. Join our team of leaders and help make a lasting impact on our next generation.

Confirmation
Hosanna’s confirmation journey is a personal faith development process that helps lead students or adults through a journey of learning what they believe and why they believe it. This journey is designed to be for Students in grades 7th-12th or any adult participants who would like to have a clearer understanding of their faith.
Confirmation is intended to be a time for families to work through the journal, service hours, and testimony together at home and at their own pace. By the end of this journey it is our hope that all participants will have some new skills and knowledge to continue their walk with Jesus and that they will participate in publicly confirming their faith as a disciple of Jesus at a Confirmation worship service.
Your student is ready to begin confirmation if they:
- Believe and trust in Jesus
- Want to know more about what our church teaches
- Want to know more about what it looks like to be an adult disciple of Jesus
- Are prepared to share with Hosanna that they are a disciple of Jesus
Launch meetings to begin the confirmation process will be happening in 2025. Please plan to attend one of these before your student starts their confirmation journey.
