September Women’s Cafe: The Woman of Zarephath

Come join us, in the Fellowship Hall Sept. 21, 2024, from 9-11 am, for coffee and light refreshments as we listen and learn from God’s Word. During this time, we will look at a woman who plays a small, but important role in the story of Elijah, The Woman of Zarephath. The Woman of Zarephath is the story of a widow, who remained unnamed, but was important enough to have her faith recorded in the Bible. Her name didn’t matter, but her faith and obedience will forever be remembered.

We will look at how the power of our faith can lead us to witness the miracles of our God. Through this story will learn about humbling ourselves so that God can exalt us without pride and discuss how we can be hospitable to those around us, even when we do not have much.
